Oceans and Atmosphere

I study fjord circulation and glacier-ocean interactions to understand the ocean’s role in melting glaciers. My research primarily relies on observations, including those from Pressure Inverted Echo Sounders (PIES), ADCPs, and CTDs from Greenland’s glacial fjords. This data is used to address questions about fjord dynamics and the exchange of heat and freshwater between glaciers and the ocean.
